7 DAYS KIDEPO NATIONAL PARK

Kidepo valley national park is one of the amazing national parks situated in the northeastern part of Uganda in the dry areas of Karamoja in Kabongo district. The park has not yet fully been explored but it offers the best virgin places for tourists visiting Uganda for wildlife safaris. The park is undeniably among the wonderful wildness in the whole of Africa with unique and distinguished wildlife endemic to this park only. The park is so scenic with an area of 1441 kilometers composed of rugged terrain occupied by rocks, hills, rocky, and inselbergs among others. Visitors can get to the park through a road trip from Kampala that can last approximately 510 kilometers.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a large primeval forest located in south-western Uganda in the Kanungu District. The Bwindi forest is on the edge of the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift, at elevations ranging from 1,160 to 2,607 metres.

Queen Elizabeth National park

Queen Elizabeth National Park spans the equator line; monuments on either side of the road marking the exact spot where it crosses latitude 00.

The park was founded in 1952 as Kazinga National Park and renamed two years later to commemorate a visit by Queen Elizabeth II of England.

The park is home to over 95 mammal species and over 600 bird species.

The Katwe explosion craters mark the park’s highest point at 1,350m above sea level, while the lowest point is at 910m, at Lake Edward.

Rwenzori National Park sits on the equator along the Uganda DRC border. Rwenzori mountains fall slopes to the west of the famous Semliki River and Lake Edward.
